Camelina oil contains more than twice as much omega 3 as 6 (about 38% omega 3, 18% omega 6 and 14% omega 9). That’s an almost perfect balance that is not found naturally in any other oil (2: 1).1 Camelina oil is also rich in vitamin E (antioxidants). 2 These nutrients can have many positive effects on the heart, body and mind. Fact is, 1−2 tsp of camelina oil is equivalent to the daily requirement of omega 3.3

The unique concentration of omega 3 fatty acids, like that in camelina oil, can contribute to:

  • Reduced risk of cardiovascular disease.4
  • An improved immune system and the function of the brain, eyes and nerves. 5
  • Protection against cognitive diseases such as dementia and Alzheimers.6
  • Prevention eye diseases such as macular degeneration.7
